Another good budget accommodation Warrnambool option, Eight Spence is a small motel located just off the main highway in Warrnambool and a couple of minutes walk from Warrnambool CBD.

For getting to the coast, you’re just a 5 minute drive to Flagstaff Hill and Lake Pertobe or another couple of minutes to the patrolled Warrnambool beach for a swim.
As with most Warrnambool motel accommodation there aren’t a huge number of facilities on-site, but each room does have a microwave, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as cutlery and crockery for eating meals back at your accommodation. There’s also free parking and wifi.
Rooms are bright and clean, and range from queen, king, triple and family rooms that can sleep up to 4 (in the 2 bedroom suite). There’s also a king room with spa bath available.
Rooms have recently been updated and are bright and fresh. They’re honestly great value for the price here. The motel is kept spotlessly clean too.
Bathrooms weren’t modernised along with the bedrooms it seems and are a little more dated but still very clean.
When it comes to finding family accommodation, Warrnambool motels don’t get much better than this one when considering the great location, cleanliness and good value. This is a great deal if you’re looking for a place to crash with the family and don’t want lots of facilities on-site.

Located just off the highway on the east side of town, the Comfort Inn on Raglan is well positioned for guests to be close to the Warrnambool foreshore reserve and beaches. Or, if you want to head into town and down to Thunder Point, they’re just a short drive away.
The on-site restaurant is open Monday thru Thursday offering dinner. While room service breakfast is available daily. The Comfort Inn also offers complimentary access to Aqua Zone water park which is a 3 minute drive away and features 4 swimming pools and a fitness centre – perfect for kids who love the water and want a day off from the beach!
Rooms at this Warrnambool holiday accommodation all include a tea & coffee maker and free wifi. Most rooms can fit extra beds, or there’s a family room which sleeps four or a 3 bedroom suite which sleeps six.
We love the free access to Aqua Zone as well as the modern, spotless rooms.
It’s a shame the restaurant is not open for dinner at weekends.
This is another great value option offering some amenities on-site/at Aqua zone with tasteful 4* accommodation. It’s well suited for families who want somewhere nice to stay at a good price and plan to eat out vs self catering.

Last but not least in my Warrnambool family accommodation reviews is the Mid City Motel, perhaps the best deal of all which I highly recommend for families who want Warrnambool cheap accommodation without compromising on location or facilities.
Located just off the highway in the heart of Warrnambool (in the CBD), Mid City Motel makes it easy to visit all of the main places to visit in Warrnambool. You can be at Thunder Point, Flagstaff Hill or at the beaches within a few minutes. Plus, you have all the entertainment options of town on your doorstep.
The motel features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ area on-site and there’s also a restaurant and room service. Free parking and wifi are available for guests throughout the property.
There are lots of different room options at the Mid City, when it comes to family accommodation. The most suitable ones are the deluxe queen and family studios as well as the family suite. The suite rooms have sparkling new bathrooms with walk-in rain showers.
We love the pool and BBQ area, perfect for summer stays in Warrnambool.
We wish the family rooms had spa baths, sadly only the king suites have those.
When it comes to Warrnambool accommodation deals, they don’t get much better than this. Honestly, the Mid City should probably be more expensive for what it offers, so it’s definitely worth checking out!
